Paul Reubens’ 48-performance Broadway run of the The Pee-wee Herman Show (based in part on Pee-wee’s Playhouse) begins Oct. 26, but in the meantime, he’s hanging out with bikers again. I’ve had this image of odd couple Pee-Wee and Lorenzo Lamas at South Dakota’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally open in my prime eighth-tab-from-the-right position for a while now, and it amuses me greatly. But to be honest, every time it pops up I have an overwhelming urge to reach into the computer and remove that red headband. It’s just not right! If anyone should be Bret Michaels-ing it up here it’s Lorenzo. But I suppose the bandana could help Pee-wee blend in if he happens to tip over a bunch of bikes like dominoes.

What’s the first word that comes to mind upon seeing this photo? As it is now after 6 p.m., mine is without question “Tequila!”
