Dexter: The Fourth Season
Season 4 of Dexter has our newly domesticated titular hero (Michael C. Hall) wondering, ”Can I do it? Can I have it all?” The new dad and husband tries — thanks to inspiration from the Trinity Killer (John Lithgow), a family man by day, cold-blooded murderer by night. Of course, it’s not long before Dexter’s source of inspiration becomes his ultimate foe, and it’s fascinating to watch our seemingly unflappable leading man unravel. Dex might not be able to have it all, but this chill-inducing, spectacular season — possibly the series’ best so far — certainly does. EXTRAS Want to see a bonus feature, like interviews with stars Hall and Lithgow? You may be out of luck, as they’re not accessible on a DVD player or a Mac — only a PC. But the season itself is a straight A.
