Image Credit: Piper FergusonIt’s been a good few years for you-so-sax-y funk-soul revivalism (see also: Aloe Blacc, Jamie Lidell, Mayer Hawthorne, et al), and L.A. sextet Fitz and the Tantrums are riding the analog wave quite nicely; they were roundly lauded at SXSW this past March, and have already opened on tours for both Maroon 5 and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings.

Now, the band is prepping for the release of sophomore outing Pickin’ Up the Pieces (due August 24 on Dangerbird, also home to Silversun Pickups and Bad Veins). But for you, Music Mixers, we have an early listen, in the form an exclusive song stream. Hear “L.O.V.” below:
