After closing up the small Manhattan soup stall in 2004, the famously brusque New York City soup vendor has reopened his original 100 square foot venue. Though, according to a Reuters report, Al Yeganeh is not a man built for sentimental rituals. He skipped today’s ribbon cutting. And still no soup for Jerry. Yeganeh apparently loathed the fame that came his way following the Seinfeld exposure and banned the comedian from his stall following the episode.
