Director John McTiernan pleaded guilty on Monday to making false statements to the FBI while they were investigating convicted wiretapper Anthony Pellicano, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Die Hard and Predator helmer admitted to lying to agents about his relationship with Pellicano, as well as to committing perjury to a federal judge. McTiernan had previously entered a guilty plea in 2006, but later tried to withdraw it. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 4, and the director faces up to a year of prison time.
