The lawyer who has shepherded Lindsay Lohan through her recent legal troubles, Shawn Chapman Holley, resigned yesterday afternoon, just a few hours after releasing a statement that decried the starlet’s 90-day jail sentence as “harsh,” a rep for Holley confirmed to People. No further details were released. Police, however, are saying that Lohan may already have a new lawyer. “We got a call yesterday from a female identifying herself as Tiffany Feder-Cohen,” L.A. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told People. “She introduced herself as Lindsay Lohan’s new attorney. I can’t get into details about why she called, but the bottom line is that we at the sheriff’s department only do what the courts instruct us to do.”
