Lindsay Lohan: Judge issued an arrest warrant, sources say
A California judge issued an arrest warrant for Lindsay Lohan after her alcohol monitoring bracelet went off on Sunday, the night of the MTV Movie Awards, sources are saying. Judge Marsha Revel called prosecutors and Lohan’s attorneys into a closed session on Wednesday, according to the LA Times, and issued a warrant for the actress, who posted $200,000 bail to avoid being detained. Lohan denies consuming alcohol in a series of Twitter updates. “My [Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor] wasn’t set off — It’s physically impossible considering I’ve [done] nothing for it to go off. All of these false [reports] are absolutely wrong.” The court ordered Lohan to wear the bracelet last month after she was ruled to have violated probation terms. If she violates probation now, she faces up to six months in jail.
