Andre 3000 is back! While his OutKast partner, Big Boi, has been out in public gearing up for a July 6 solo debut, Dre 3K has been off in a psychedelic underground lair somewhere secretly jamming out to the Yellow Submarine soundtrack. At least, that’s how I’m imagining the genesis of the new Nike ad that has been airing on TV during the NBA finals.

The spot features Andre 3000’s brand-new cover of the Beatles’ “All Together Now” underneath a Kobe Bryant highlight reel. The nursery rhyme lyrics of “All Together Now” aren’t exactly Lennon and McCartney’s finest work, but it’s a catchy little tune, and Andre has fun with it. It’s great to hear some new music from Three Stacks, who’s been quiet of late.

Check out the ad after the jump (clip via Vulture). Have you seen this on TV? What do you think of Andre’s Beatles cover?
