I love perusing the New York Times weddings section — there’s nothing like reading about how two ridiculously successful people descended from either the Founding Fathers or oil barons with ten Ivy League degrees between them meet, fall in love, and combine their already huge trust funds. Today, however, I actually found one that didn’t make me gag – the announcement for Jane Lynch (a.k.a. Glee‘s Sue Sylvester) and her new wife, Dr. Lara Embry.

The happy couple tied the knot on Monday in Sunderland, Mass., with Jane walking down the aisle in a stunning, lacy white track suit (I wish!). The announcement goes into detail about how the pair met, but my favorite part came at the end, when Lara shared that her 8-year-old daughter, Haden, helped Jane practice the “Vogue” routine before she performed it on Glee. That was just the beginning — now the duo start impromptu singing and dancing sessions often, and, in fact, shared their best “Vogue” rendition at the wedding reception. All I can say is, what a lucky little girl. This sounds like such a fun family, and if Madonna’s not available, the second obvious person I’d want to teach me to “Vogue” is Sue Sylvester!

So, PopWatchers, what dance would you like to learn from America’s most hardcore cheer coach? The worm? Are there any other celebrities or characters you’d want to show you how to freestyle (Napoleon Dynamite, perhaps?) or disco (hello, John Travolta circa 1977!)?
