The singer revealed this in an interview with Larry King that will air tonight. MTV has transcribed excerpts of their chat, including the following statement on the disease: “Lupus is in my family and it’s genetic…The truth is I don’t show any signs, any symptoms of lupus, but I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So as of right now, I don’t have it. But I do have to take good care of myself.”

Gaga also told King that she was asked to open for Michael Jackson’s This Is It concert series in London before his death last summer. “We were working on making it happen,” she said, according to MTV’s transcript. “And I suppose there was some talk about the openers doing some duets with Michael onstage.”

The Music Mix extends its best wishes for Lady Gaga’s health — and its regrets that we never got to hear her sing with the King of Pop.
