Investment advisor to the stars (Uma Thurman, Martin Scorsese, and Goldie Hawn among others), Kenneth I. Starr was arrested Thursday for fraud and a $30 million Ponzi scheme, The Wrap reports.

Starr was charged with five counts: wire fraud scheme to obtain property; fraud by an investment advisor; money laundering; making false statements on an IRS filing; and making false statements to a federal officer. Starr is the CEO of Starr & Company. Court documents show that his firm manages more than $700 million.

Andy Stein, Starr’s associate, was also arrested on Thursday. He was charged with lying to federal authorities during the of Starr investigation. Starr and Stein are will appear in federal court in Manhattan later today.
