Ellen DeGeneres starts label, signs Greyson Chance
Image Credit: Michael Rozman/AP ImagesEllen DeGeneres likes “Paparazzi” kid Greyson Chance so much that she’s started her own record label in order to sign him, People reports. “Greyson… inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven,” DeGeneres told the mag. “He is my first artist, and we are making a record together.”
It’s no surprise that Ellen is a big music fan. She’s made that clear for years on her talk show, and of course she recently took a permanent seat behind the judges’ table on American Idol. She’s also been instrumental in Chance’s meteoric rise to fame, booking the 12-year-old singer on her show after seeing his “Paparazzi” clip on YouTube. The rest is history.
What do you think of this news? Who else do you think Ellen should sign to eleveneleven?
