Image Credit: Al Pereira/WireImage.comARCA’s “Pork the Other White Meat 400” used to be favorite name of a racing event ever. But today, when I received a press release announcing that Grown Ups‘ Adam Sandler and Kevin James will be the Grand Marshals at NASCAR’s “Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400,” that all changed. That, my friends, is comedy. The duo will give the command to start engines June 13 at Michigan International Speedway. As the release proudly notes, “Sandler and James know how to say the most famous words in motorsports with passion and enthusiasm. Each have given arguably the two most amazing commands in the NASCAR history — James in 2007 at Daytona International Speedway and Sandler at MIS in 2006.” The boys certainly were in it to win it. (Watch them and other celebs do the honor below.) But while their level of commitment was commendable, I would say Ronald Reagan phoning it in from Air Force One in 1984 was “amazing.”
