If you thought last week’s first part of the Fringe season finale “Over There” was good, you’ll probably be thrilled and deeply satisfied with tonight’s second, concluding hour. You’ve seen the coming attractions, with such terrific visuals as “our” Olivia fighting the alternative-world Olivia.

But you’ll also see a lot more of William Bell, with Leonard Nimoy giving a terrific performance — he even gets his hands dirty in some action scenes.

Most of all, Fringe is really going to pay off on some of the story lines it’s been developing this season, and there’s a lot of emotion (and superb acting) in this hour.

Oh, and remember last season, when you were left gasping at the finale’s final, cliffhanger shot? Well, I think it’s fair to say, Fringe has matched that in the climax of the show tonight.

Don’t say I didn’t give you a head’s-up.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a complete recap.
