America’s favorite fiancé(e)s, are set to star in something called Splatter Sisters. Variety says it’s “a sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie circa 1989” — and the first in a series. “I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level,” Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green, who’s one of Splatter Sisters‘ producers,told the paper. That’s not much information to go on, but “slasher” and “Manson” are two words that are likely to elicit some kind of immediate reaction. Personally, I think Manson has passed the self-parody line way too long ago to be taken seriously as an actor (though perhaps “serious” and “sexploitation” don’t have to go hand-in-hand). But again, I’m sure there are those who can get excited about Manson doing this slasher movie with Wood. If you’re one of them, tell us exactly why you’d buy a ticket to Splatter Sisters…
