Image Credit: Jason Merritt/Getty Images Bret Michaels might be appearing on The Celebrity Apprentice‘s May 23 finale, but that’s hardly the last time we’ll see him grace the small small. Vh1 announced today in a press release that they will air a May 31 sneak peek of Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, a ten-episode series from the folks who brought us Rock of Love. (Due to Michaels’ health issues, the rest of the series has been pushed back to fall.) This time, however, we won’t be watching half-clothed groupies try to win Michaels’ heart — Life As I Know It will focus on his home life, where he plays dad to daughters Raine and Jorja and boyfriend to Kristi Gibson.

As EW’s biggest Bret Michaels fan (a weird title to hold, I know), I couldn’t be happier to see him staking out a place on television. Music, schmusic — the guy is a born TV star. And if anyone is deserving of his own TV show — sans gimmicky Bachelor premise — it’s a guy who was fully willing to kiss this in front of a large viewing audience. Question is: Will you watch Bret Michaels special, especially those of you Celebrity Apprentice fans who finally caught on to his likability?
