''Hawaii Five-O,'' ''Mr. Sunshine,'' and more projects generating buzz

Hawaii Five-O
The producing team behind Star Trek and Fringe is updating the ’60s drama about Hawaii cops, with stars Alex O’Loughlin (Moonlight), Daniel Dae Kim (Lost), and Taryn Manning (Sons of Anarchy).


Mr. Sunshine
Matthew Perry (Friends) stars in and executive-produces this comedy about a self-absorbed manager of a sports arena. The cast also includes Allison Janney (The West Wing) and Andrea Anders (Better Off Ted).

The CW

An update of La Femme Nikita, the action drama stars Maggie Q (Live Free or Die Hard ) as the titular assassin and is executive-produced by McG (Charlie’s Angels) and Craig Silverstein (Bones).


Terra Nova
Steven Spielberg and former Fox chairman Peter Chernin executive-produce this (not-yet-cast) drama about a future family that travels back in time to prehistoric Earth.
