People reports Bret Michaels is conscious and speaking slowly, five days after a brain hemorrhage landed him in the hospital. Though the rocker suffered a side-effect called hyponatremia, one doctor told People it’s not a setback, as previously reported. “It’s relatively common [in these cases],” Dr. Melvin Field, the director of the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute said. “I don’t think it’s going to cause permanent problems. It’s almost like a small road-bump — like having a fever.”
