Image Credit: Everett CollectionAccording to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and DC Comics are plotting a Batman Live touring stage show. The project has yet to be officially announced, but THR‘s sources say it would be “neither a musical nor a Broadway-bound theatrical production but rather an elaborate arena production aimed at kids and families.” This makes it a very different beast from, say, the U2-assisted Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark musical that may or may not hit Broadway this year. THR also says “it’s known that the show will feature numerous villains.” Other than that, details remain scarce. (Warner Bros. declined to comment when asked by EW for confirmation.)

Okay, so that’s not much to go on, but what do you think of this Batman Live idea? Would you check it out if it came through your town? What concept would most appeal to you?
