This week’s poster advertising the June 13 return of True Blood is clearly reminding us that the HBO drama has plenty of watercooler moments. That got us wondering: Which show is your office obsessed with? And where do the conversations tend to take place? I suppose my office shouldn’t count since talking TV is our business and we do it in meetings. But I will say I can’t remember the last time I had an extended conversation in the pantry area. We have long hallways, and I’m on one far end of the floor, so I see people in transit and have that awkward moment when I’m ready to talk about the show we have in common but can’t decide how soon to begin. Occasionally, it will turn into a lengthy chat and collect other colleagues walking about, and then I feel bad for whoever’s office we happen to be standing by. Consider this my public apology.

What’s your office ritual? (If you’re in school, retired, or unemployed, feel free to play along with wherever you gather to discuss watercooler moments.)
