Today Variety reports that Fox has officially canceled Tucson in its freshman year, freeing up the show’s leading man to focus all his attention on that True Love pilot.

Sad, considering the show was on for less than a month. (It premiered March 14.) I might have helped contribute to the show’s cancellation — I’ve been a fan of Labine’s since Reaper, and had every intention to check out his turn on Tucson. Instead, I’d end up spending my Sunday nights watching The Celebrity Apprentice, since my mind is too focused on the contours of Blago’s hair to concentrate on any other show on TV.

Oh well. It was good(?) while it lasted. Are you going to miss Sons of Tucson, PopWatchers?
