'Glee' kids perform at White House Easter Egg Roll
Here are the Glee kids singing “Don’t Stop Believin'” at today’s White House Easter Egg Roll. I’m very impressed that they kept up the charade of constant “dah, dah, dah, dah” and “dah-dah!” background notes — particularly Dianna Agron, who had a serious case of the giggles/Mondays. I choose to not stop believin’ that Fertile Myrtle had hatched, but then the group had abandoned, a grand plan to have Artie leap to his feet for the final chorus in a “He is risen” stunt for the ages. Video after the jump.
Cory Monteith’s mic issues at the beginning of his needs-more-Autotune solo just brought back horrifying memories of my third grade solo on a creepy song called “Only Love is Spoken Here” during our annual choral concert. Except my elementary school is not the White House, and my mike was never turned on. Two hours later, a parent who’d sat in the front row assured my parents, who’d sat second-to-last, that I’d sounded just beautiful. Liars.
