'Precious' director Lee Daniels casts next project, 'Selma'
The Oscar-nominated director of Precious, Lee Daniels, is busy at work on his next project, Selma, casting British actor David Oyelowo in the project, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Oyelowo, who was in A Raisin in the Sun, will play the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in the project, which also stars Hugh Jackman as a racist sheriff. The story focuses on King’s 1965 marches in Selma, Ala.
