NBC has announced that for the first time in over 30 years, the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live coast-to-coast on Sunday, August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST, 5-8 p.m. PST). The network also revealed the summer premiere dates for a handful of new and returning series and specials. They are:

America’s Got Talent: Tuesday, June 1 (8-10 p.m. EST), followed by the Wednesday edition on June 2 (9-10 p.m. EST)

Last Comic Standing: Monday, June 7 (8-10 p.m. EST), before moving to its regular time period (Monday, 9-10 p.m. EST) the following week

100 Questions:Thursday, May 27 (8:30-9 p.m. EST)

Persons Unknown:Monday, June 7 (10-11 p.m. EST)

Among the specials: The Jensen Project (Friday July 16, 8-10 p.m. EST); The Making of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Sunday June 6, 7-7:30 p.m. EST); and The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular (Sunday July 4, 9-10 p.m. EST).
