Last week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly featured Johnny Depp dressed as the Mad Hatter in anticipation of Alice in Wonderland, but if our reader mail can be trusted (and if there’s one thing we do with reader mail, it’s trust it), not all of you believed that was actually Depp gracing our cover as Tim Burton’s Hatter. Maureen from Lancaster, N.Y. was among the many who asked us, “Are you sure this isn’t Elijah Wood?”, while Ft. Lauderdale resident Tim Elliott represented the contingent wondering “why Madonna is featured on the cover for Alice in Wonderland.
