Ok, Bachelor fans, I know we normally try to avoid spoilers in this space for our west coast friends, but I also know we need a safe place to discuss what happened — sort of like the “trust tree” Will Ferrell talks about in Old School — so if you’ve seen the finale and After the Final Rose, please join me in the trust tree after the jump. (And then click over to my full Bachelor TV Watch recap and Chris Harrison’s exclusive behind-the-scenes Bachelor blog on PopWatch.) IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FINALE/ATFR, WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

So the rumors were true: Jake gave Vienna the final rose, while Tenley lost her chance at love forever. If you believe the After the Final Rose interview with the “happy” “couple,” they’re still engaged and blissfully in love, or whatever. Counting down from this exact moment, how long do you give this relationship? Another 15 minutes? Three weeks? A month? Are there any of you out there who believe that this time next year Jake and Vienna will pull a Jason and Molly and head to the altar?

The other big news, of course, is the “surprise” announcement that Ali will be the new Bachelorette. I think you all know how I feel about Ali (a.k.a. Queen of Bitch Mountain), but even I can admit that I’ll be watching, simply because I cannot help myself. What about you, rose-lovers? Can you take a full season of Ali and her weird, whimpering crying? Post your comments now! And then, Bachelor fans, take a moment and say your goodbyes.
