MTV hit Jersey Shore has won its legal bid to include footage of a man being punched in the DVD of its first season, the Associated Press reports. Steven Izzo Jr., of Bayville, NJ — the man who says he was beaten outside a Seaside Heights nightclub on tape — was seeking to block to release in court, but Superior Court judge Joseph L. Foster ruled yesterday that he had “failed to demonstrate any financial or irreparable harm” he’d suffer from release of the footage. Foster said Izzo is not recognizable on the film because producers obscured his face.
