Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray is 'negotiating' surrender
According to CNN, Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician currently facing charges related to Michael Jackson’s death last June, is negotiating with prosecutors on plans to surrender to law enforcement in Los Angeles. He will reportedly be arraigned at an L.A. courthouse tomorrow afternoon.
“We are presently negotiating with the district attorney’s office the surrender of Dr. Murray,” Conrad’s attorney Ed Chernoff said in a statement posted Thursday on his website. “The specifics have not yet been agreed to and when the agreement is complete we will report further on this Web site.”
Jackson’s death has been ruled a homicide by the L.A. County coroner, due to a lethal combination of drugs, primarily propofol and lorazepam, administered to the insomniac star by Conrad as a sleep aid.
