MTV to premiere 'Turn the Beat Around' on Feb. 26

MTV has set a Feb. 26 premiere date for its second original movie, Turn the Beat Around (trailer is here). The DVD release will follow March 9. The film is about young dancers trying to make it at a new disco-themed club in Los Angeles. The cast includes Romina D’Ugo, David Giuntoli, Adam Taylor Brooks and Brooklyn Sudano. Jason Derulo makes an on-screen performance and also contributes to the soundtrack, which features disco songs covered by the likes of Cobra Starship and Sing It Loud.
