Tom Cruise hires new publicist

Tom Cruise has a new publicist. Today he signed on with public-relations firm 42West. Cruise will be working with film department co-head and partner Amanda Lundberg. He had previously worked with Lundberg on his 2008 film Valkyrie. 42West will handle Cruise’s personal publicity and his films. Cruise’s next movie is Fox’s romantic adventure Knight and Day (set for release July 2), costarring Cameron Diaz.
