See Mel Gibson go nuts in 'Jimmy Kimmel' video last night

Mel Gibson showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, making the rounds to promote Edge of Darkness. But unlike his visit with Jay Leno the previous evening, which resulted in awkward foolishness involving changing a doll’s diaper, for Kimmel, Gibson taped a video.

Called Wiggly Piggly: The Jimmy Kimmel Story, Gibson played the host as a lard-eating maniac screaming to his terrified staff, “More monkeys!” and “I wanna harpoon an endangered whale on live TV!” Check it out:

I like the lines, “From the director of From Justin to Kelly,” and “Based on a true story, like Precious.”

You have to admit: Gibson isn’t backing away from his eccentric side, is he?
