Costume Designers Guild nominees announced

When it comes to the costume design category at the Oscars, voters usually go for period pieces over contemporary or fantasy films. But the Costume Designers Guild includes films in all three genres, which makes for some interesting nominees. Here are this year’s nominees; something tells me there’s about to be a lot of discussion in the comments section over whether Avatar really had costumes.
