Martin Scorsese in talks to direct 'Invention of Hugo Cabret'

Martin Scorsese is in talks to direct The Invention of Hugo Cabret, a feature-film adaptation of the bestselling children’s novel by Brian Selznick, according to Variety. The film would be Scorsese’s first project based on a children’s book. John Logan (The Aviator, Gladiator) wrote the screenplay for the movie, which is expected to start shooting in May.
