Oscar winner Ronald Harwood to write MLK script for DreamWorks

Just one day after the Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday, DreamWorks Pictures has announced that Ronald Harwood, the screenwriter behind The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and The Pianist, will write the script for its King biopic. The film will be the first theatrical work authorized by The King Estate to utilize Dr. King’s intellectual property, including his speeches, books, and other famous works. Steven Spielberg will produce the movie.
