Ratings: Jack Bauer defeats the Bachelor, but CBS still has the 'Big Bang'
CBS topped the ratings Monday, led by the evening’s top two shows: Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory. Fox came in second with night two of 24‘s four-hour season opener, which peaked at 9 p.m. with 11.5 million viewers. ABC finished third, with another emotional installment of The Bachelor, which built its audienceover 120 minutes, maxing out at 11.4 million viewers in the last half hour. NBC finished fourth, with Heroes doing the kind of numbers that would only make it a hit on The CW. The CW, meanwhile, debuted the drama, Life Unexpected, to 2.7 million viewers. Its crowd grew over the course of the hour — a nice sign for any new series.
