So is Ivan Reitman the director of 'Ghostbusters 3'?

Ivan Reitman, the director and producer of the iconic Ghostbusters movies has made it very clear that he’s the man who’s going to lead the third installment to the big screen. However, with no script from The Office scribes Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg yet delivered to the studio, the 63-year old director, who is also producing the third film, does not yet have a deal in place. The assumption from everyone involved with the movie is that Reitman will helm it. But Sony does not yet have a greenlit picture and until all those stars are aligned, there is no guarantee those iconic backpacks will be hoisted again upon any actors’ shoulders.
