The now suspended police chief, who was convicted of scheming to steal photos from the Ohio home of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate, must complete 50 days of house arrest in place of jail time, according to the AP. Chad Dojack, who worked with ex-police chief Barry Carpenter to try to sell the photos to celebrity photographers, will also serve three years’ probation and 100 hours of community service. Dojack pleaded no contest to dereliction of duty.
