EPIX, the new HD entertainment service launched last year by Viacom, MGM, and Lionsgate, announced today that it has struck a deal with Cox Communications, America’s third-largest cable television company. The deal means that, from April, Cox will have access to 15,000 films, including such recent blockbusters as Star Trek, GI Joe, and Paranormal Activity.
