'The Bachelor' premiere: Is it me, or is Jake scared of women?
Welcome back, Bachelor fans! Can you think of any better way to kick off 2010 than watching Jake cower in the presence of 25 man-eating, rose-hungry bachelorettes? As you may know, Jake wasn’t exactly my first choice for the new Bachelor, but after watching tonight’s premiere — in which a few of the “ladies” managed to terrify the rose-wielding pilot with some mildly aggressive behavior — I’m thinking this season might turn out to be fun after all. I won’t venture into spoiler territory now (check out my detailed Bachelor TV recap for that), but in the meantime, I want to hear what you thought of Jake’s debut as the Bachelor — dull, delightful, or somewhere in between? And more importantly, how freaking excited are you for next week’s episode, featuring Producergate, or Slutgate, or Producer-Slutgate, or whatever you want to call it? Be sure to click over to Chris Harrison’s exclusive EW.com blog, but first check out the host extraordinaire in the video interview below. (That man can really rock a sweater.)
Chris Harrison hosts the romance reality competition series in which a gaggle of women vie for the Bachelor’s heart — and a wedding proposal. Will you accept this rose?
