'Taking the Stage' season 2 trailer: Encore!

Earlier this year I became obsessed with the MTV series Taking the Stage, approximately a real-life Fame filmed at a performing arts high school in Cincinnati. To my enormous delight, season two begins in a few shorts weeks, and no joke, it is marked on my calendar.

Is it tough to take a show seriously when its dramatic/romantic lead says without a molecule irony, “I came here because I want to dance“? I guess it could be, but that’s what makes this show awesome: The people on it are legitimately talented and actually care about things. It’s the opposite of celebreality, and I love it.
