New CBS reality show Undercover Boss has been slotted into the coveted post-Super Bowl slot on Feb. 7, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After much speculation about which CBS series—The Big Bang Theory? Criminal Minds? The Mentalist?—would get the spot, the network surprisingly decided to give the boost to the freshman series Boss, which follows top executives from companies such as White Castle and Waste Management as they take on entry-level jobs at their company for new perspective. This is the first time since 2005 that a broadcast network has aired a new show after the Super Bowl. After its debut, Boss will air at 9 p.m. on Sunday, after The Amazing Race and before Cold Case.
