Walt Disney Studios announced today that Toy Story 3 will be released on IMAX 3-D as well as regular screens on June 18, 2010. The third installment of Pixar’s beloved franchise brings back the characters of Woody and Buzz Lightyear, as the boy who owns them prepares to leave for college. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich, who co-directed Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo, and scripted by Little Miss Sunshine screenwriter Michael Arndt. ABC Family will offer a sneak peek at the film during the network’s broadcast of The Incredibles this Sunday night.
