Tosh.0 is getting an upgrade: Comedy Central has renewed Daniel Tosh’s viral video-tweaking series for a second season, has learned. Debuting Jan. 13 at 10:30 p.m., season 2 of Tosh.0 will offer up 25 weekly episodes (which is nine more than the season 1 order). “Twenty-five episodes seems like a lot,” Tosh tells via email, “so I had them work a one-way ticket to Africa into my contract in the event things got overwhelming.” The comedian will also shoot a one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central that will air later in 2010; it will be released with extended material on DVD and on CD. In addition, the network will sponsor Tosh’s stand-up tour.
