'The Runaways': Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning look rock 'n roll

The Runaways, the Kristen Stewart-starring Joan Jett biopic, will premiere next month at Sundance, but we’re getting our first official look at Stewart and costar Dakota Fanning now. Stewart appears appropriately badass and, wearing makeup that was missing from all the paparazzi shots taken during filming, manages to pull off that ’70s hair. I’m going to see the movie just to find out why her leather pants are unzipped.

Fanning looks… well, nearly unrecognizable as Runaways band mate Cherie Currie. After seeing this image, whose performance are you looking forward to more? We all know Fanning is a great actress. But can she rock? Now, I’m curious…
