New polls taken by Gallup Poll/USA Today and Washington Post/ABC News show that Tiger Woods’ popularity has declined precipitously in the wake of admitting to infidelity and tabloid reports linking him to several women. According to Yahoo!, Woods received a 33% favorable rating in the Gallup poll, down from 85% in 2005–an “unprecedented” plunge, according to Gallup. In the Post/ABC poll, one in four people said their opinion of Woods was “strongly negative.”
