Mel Gibson's next project to be 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation'

Before directing a Viking movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio that was announced yesterday, Mel Gibson will star in his own action drama script, How I Spent My Summer Vacation, according to EmpireOnline. The movie tells the story of a career criminal who, while imprisoned in a Mexican jail, finds redemption in a friendship with a 9-year-old boy. Adrian Grunberg, Gibson’s first assistant director on Apocalypto, will direct.
