'True Blood': Alfre Woodard set to play Lafayette's mom

Emmy-winning actress Alfre Woodard has signed on to play the mother of Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) as a guest star on HBO’s True Blood, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Woodard also recently joined the cast of the TNT pilot Delta Blues.
