As was confirmed earlier this week, Susan Boyle is a big freakin’ deal. The Britain’s Got Talent sensation sold 701,000 copies of her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, in its first week, easily blowing away Adam Lambert, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga.

But, but, but! Despite Boyle’s clear sales power, I haven’t heard a peep about her among my circle of friends and coworkers since the early days of that YouTube clip heard ’round the world. And that got me thinking: Who exactly is buying this album? How can this record be so huge when nobody I know seemed remotely excited about it? Or am I surrounded by legions of closeted Susan Boyle fans who also have secret playlists filled with the soothing sounds of Il Divo, Enya, and Andrea Bocelli?

So, readers, it’s time to ‘fess up! Are you part of the Boyle phenomenon? I don’t love the woman, but I’m dying to know if you do, which is why I’ve created the handy poll below. Do vote: I’d be forever grateful.
