Despite her collection being harshly critiqued by everyone from The New York Times to the label’s namesake himself, Lindsay Lohan will continue as fashion consultant to Parisian brand Emanuel Ungaro, the brand’s rep, Melissa Skoog, told EW. At the Milan Fashion Global Fashion Summit on Tuesday, Ungaro president and chief executive Mounir Moufarrige told Reuters that Lohan will stay on with the brand, but admitted that the criticism was, at times, extreme. “I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest but I think it was harsh,” said Moufarrige. But Lohan, who made her runway design debut in October with heart prints and pasties, will have to amend with the label’s new vision, which Moufarrige said will be “more tight, more identity driven.”
