Tyler Perry’s sitcom Meet the Browns, which currently airs on TBS, has been cleared for broadcast syndication a mere 15 months after its cable debut. According to Variety, distributor Debmar-Mercury has deals in place with “stations covering 70 percent of U.S. TV households, including Fox-owned stations in New York, Dallas, Houston and Washington, D.C.” Browns will air Monday–Fridays on those stations starting in September.
